Gas storage room in Biomedicum
Carbon dioxide (CO2), Nitrogen (N2) and Carbogen (5% CO2 + 95% O2) are gases that are centrally provided in Biomedicum.
Gas storage in quarters
The access to the gas storage room is restricted. Contact FM if you need access to the premises. The gas storage room is its own fire cell, and thus the door should always be closed. Both full and empty gas cylinders should be secured to prevent falling over.
Always contact FM before purchasing a new gas, to ensure that the gas will be handled and stored according to KI guidelines.
Other/special gases are purchased by the research groups in cylinders and can be delivered by FM to the gas storage room in your quarter.
