Administration for doctoral education at the Department of Laboratory Medicine

Administration for doctoral education at the Department of Laboratory Medicine (Labmed) is managed by an administrator in close cooperation with the director of studies at Labmed.

The administrator for research education assists supervisors, doctoral students and division coordinators. 

Help to supervisors

  • Accepts applications for, for example:
    • Establishment of a doctoral position.
    • Green light.
  • When advertising doctoral positions:
    • Receives all doctoral advertisements and associated attachments/documents.
       
  • ISP supervisor authorization and general ISP questions.
     
  • Certificates of supervision (for docent application).

Help to doctoral students

  • Accepts applications, for example:
    • Admission to doctoral education.
    • Credit-bearing activities and credit transfer.
    • Half-time seminars.

Help to division coordinators

When advertising doctoral positions:

  • Receives all doctoral advertisements and associated attachments/documents.
  • Notifies when everything is ready so the doctoral student can be employed.

The doctoral education administrator answers questions about doctoral students and doctoral education, such as what is handled at the department and what is handled by the central KI administration.
