Change information in KI RIMS that has come from other systems

Much of the information in KI RIMS is imported automatically from other systems, such as details about publications, research grants and professional activities. Sometimes this information may be incorrect, incomplete, or not presented in the way you would like it to appear. In these cases, you can add information in KI RIMS to correct or supplement it.

Whenever possible, it is usually best to correct errors in the system where the information originally comes from. For some types of information, such as your contact details, this is also the only way to make changes.

For publications, research grants and professional activities, however, you can add your own information directly in KI RIMS. A publication, research grant or professional activity may contain information that has been imported from several different systems.

Record in KI RIMS with many sources

Information that has been imported from other systems cannot be edited or deleted in KI RIMS. Instead, you can add your own version on top of the imported information in KI RIMS. The original information will remain in the system, but if both imported information and information you have added are available for the same publication, research grant or professional activity, the information you have added will be displayed ki.se.
