Question bank for course evaluation

The question bank has been developed to support course leaders, examiners, programme directors, and other educational stakeholders at Karolinska Institutet in designing high-quality course evaluations. The questions are intended to be used flexibly across different programmes, courses, and teaching formats, while also supporting systematic quality assurance and educational development at undergraduate and master’s levels.

The questions have been developed to function across different educational contexts at KI and should be regarded as a resource for professional and systematic quality enhancement in education.

The question bank is based on the following principles:

  • clear and concrete wording
  • focus on learning and the student experience
  • balance between process and outcome
  • flexibility in use
  • minimization of overlap between areas
  • usefulness for quality enhancement
  • psychometric quality
  • support for inclusive and student-centred education

The questions are designed for use as course- and programme-specific items in first- and second-cycle courses at KI, and are intended to support professional and systematic quality development in education.
