Examination service
Examination service (Tentamensservice) coordinates the support for examinations in the examination halls. The coordinated support consists of, among other things:
- staffing with exam invigilators,
- coordination of several examinations in the examination halls and
- coordination with IT support for the examinations.

Registration for exams in examination halls
The following applies to registration for written exams from the spring semester 2026
- registration must be made in Ladok no later than 10 calendar days before the date of the exam,
- the course has two days to check the registrations for the exam, after which the documentation is submitted to the exam service,
- the student must be registered or re-registered on the current course for the exam. If the student only has the written exam from a previous course and is registered on another course at the time of the exam, he or she does not need to be registered on the course for the exam, and
- information about the time and procedure for registering for written exams and registration must be available in the course room in Canvas and on the course website.
Students who are not registered are not allowed to write at the time of the exam.

Scanned exam material
It is important that you as education administrators directly download the documents that the invigilators share with you after the exam is over. You own the documents and must save them in the course folder. We will save them digitally for 2 weeks (the paper copies are saved for 3 months) and then we will delete them as a consequence of GDPR.
Fixed start times
Fixed start times for examinations in KI's examination halls are:
- Weekdays: 08:15, 13:15, 18:15*
- Weekend: 08:15, 13:15

Premises managed by Examination Service
Campus Solna: Skrivsal BZ (240 seats), Skrivsal Widerströmska (45 seats), Skrivsal Enter (15 seats), Skrivsal Space (10 seats), Room 1-5 BZ (level 5).
Campus Flemingsberg: Skrivsal Bengt Winblad (170 seats), Skrivsal ANA 23 (40-81 seats), Skrivsal ANA 10 (10 seats), Room 1-5 ANA 10 (level 4). Mindre Skrivsal NEO pl.8 (8 seats) Enskilt rum NEO pl.8 (10 seats)
Some of the premises are adapted for students with disabilities.
Cost of exam service (incl. room rent)
The courses pay SEK 37 per place and hour for registered students. The cost includes rent for the room and exam invigilators. Examination service applies to all examinations in the examination halls. The costs are booked on the course's project, which must be specified in the booking request in TimeEdit
Rules
In order to be able to coordinate several examinations and to be able to use the system support this applies to all:
- common start times
- registration for the examination must take place in Ladok
- the students must be registered for the current course session (kurstillfälle)
- common routines in the examination halls.
