MSCA Postdoc Fellowships
Marie Skłodowska Curie Actions Postdoctoral Fellowships is a program within the European Commission's new Framework Program, Horizon Europe. The program aims at fellows who possess a PhD degree and have maximum eight years of research experience. The research project is to be done at postdoc level either within Europe with a 2-year fellowship (European Fellowship), or outside Europe (2 years) with a mandatory 1-year return phase to Europe with the 3-year Global Fellowship.
The next MSCA-PF Call will open on 9th April 2025 and close on 10th September 2025.
The Living Allowance and Mobility Allowance for the fellow has been increased for the 2024 Call. This implies an increase in the need of co-financing at KI. For details see KI Application Assurance.
Co-financing need for incoming European Fellowships projects at KI for the 2024 Call is ~420,000 SEK with family allowance and ~390,000SEK for projects without family allowance.
UK:
UK organizations can host MSCA Postdoc Fellowships for the 2024 Call. See below links on UK participation and contact the Grants Office at your Host Organization for information and latest updates.
Switzerland:
As of June 17, 2021 Switzerland is regarded as a Third Country to Horizon Europe. This means organizations in Switzerland cannot host European Fellowships or Global Fellowships. For Global Fellowships, Switzerland can serve as an Outgoing Phase country but not Return phase country. Swiss nationals are not eligible for participation in MSCA Global Fellowships, unless they are long-term residents in a Member State or Associated Country. Switzerland's status to Horizon Europe may change. For information and updates see link below "Update on Swiss participation in Horizon Europe" and "Swiss Participation in Horizon Europe".
