Defibrillators at Karolinska Institutet

The use of cardiopulmonary resuscitation, CPR, and defibrillator is recommended as the first treatment for sudden cardiac arrest. Defibrillator sends a controlled electric shock through a person's heart and reset the heart's activity, so it starts again. Last year, University administration bought a number of defibrillators being deployed at KI. They are placed here:
