On 7 October 2025, the Committee for doctoral education took a decision regarding the allocation of funds among the applications in the 2025 KID call. A total of 70 applications were granted funding. Two applications were placed on the list of reserves.

On 7 October 2021 the Committee for doctoral education took a decision regarding the allocation of funds among the applications in the 2021 KID Call. A total of 70 applications were granted funding. The five highest ranked first-time principal supervisors who have defended their theses in the last 10 years received a larger annual standard amount.
