Expert assessment in recruitment

Karolinska Institutet thanks you for your willingness to serve as an expert in a recruitment process. Here is a summary of what the assignment entails.

What does the assignment as an expert entail?

You will assess the competence and skills of the applicants. Your opinion is an important part of the selection process and helps KI make decisions. The assessment is made individually, unless otherwise stated in the assignment description.

The assessment of applicants' merits and skills should be based on all the material in the case, and consideration should be given to the requirements, assessment criteria and specific guidelines that apply to the position in question.

Conflict of interest - important to consider

It is important that you, as an expert, have assessed whether there is a risk of conflict of interest (e.g. a personal connection to an applicant) before taking on the assignment. Inform your contact person at KI if such a situation arises, even during the assessment process. Read more about conflict of interest on KI's website.

Access to application documents and instructions

You will have access to the material in the Varbi recruitment tool. Application documents, instructions and other documents needed for the assignment are uploaded to the system. If you need help, you can always contact your contact person.

In some cases, the material is sent directly by email.

How are statements submitted?
