Announcement - Research schools for clinicians 2026 (KI - Region Stockholm)
Karolinska Institutet (KI) runs five research schools for clinically active doctoral students in collaboration with Region Stockholm: family medicine and primary care, clinical therapy research, epidemiology, molecular medicine, and psychiatry.
The research schools comprise a total of 16 weeks of full-time study, 24 credits. The courses are divided into four blocks of four weeks and run over two years.
Call for applications
Research schools starting in autumn 2026 are:
- Clinical research school in family medicine and primary care
- Research school in clinical therapy research
- Clinical research school in epidemiology
- Clinical research school in molecular medicine
Announcement period
The announcement starts 15 December 2025, 15:00 h, and last day for application is 6 March 2026, 14:00 h.
Application
Your application is to be submitted in KI Prisma during the application period.
The call for applications is joint for the four research schools. Only one application may be submitted, but applicants may select up to three of the research schools in order of priority.
