Titel: Interdisciplinary research and education for sustainable development

Join this seminar on October 23rd to explore how the University Alliance Stockholm Trio supports researchers and educators at Karolinska Institutet, KTH, and Stockholm University to collaborate across disciplines and with external stakeholders to contribute to Agenda 2030. 

Register by October 14th to enjoy a complimentary lunch and opportunity to mingle with researchers from Karolinska Institutet, KTH, Stockholm University, and the University of Tokyo from 12:00.

Doctoral students and postdoc employees at CNS are eligible to apply for CLINICUM Solna's mentoring program. You are paired with a mentor with specialist knowledge in methods that are the basis, or needed, for the research to be carried out.

In order for you as a participant to benefit from the program, it is assumed that you have basic knowledge and skills in data management in some statistical software.

Application open until March 30, 2024.

Welcome to KI Culture Day 2023, Wednesday, November 29th, from 15.30. We will discuss and showcase current fiction and popular science books by authors affiliated with Karolinska Institutet. The day will also feature an immersive performing arts experience!

On 27 September at 12:00-13:00, KIB will hold a lunch webinar regarding requirements from Swedish research funders for "open access" to scientific publications and research data. Important information that concerns all researchers at KI.

From KI, Professor Emily Holmes (Department of Psychology) participates as one of the keynote speakers and Anne Berman (CPF) in her capacity as president of the International Society of Behavioral Medicine (ISBM).

As of 1 April, KI staff may visit the university’s general dentistry clinic during their working day, provided they have the permission of their department (or the equivalent) and their immediate manager. This staff perk will be trialled for a year.

On May 18 it's time for KI's Sustainability Day. Like last year, it will be held digitally. The theme of 2021 is "building back better". How can we implement the new Climate Strategy at KI and build a more resilient, sustainable and fair future post COVID-19?

More help and support for researchers – the objective of the new office part of the university’s Central Administration. Björn Kull, former head of the Grants Office is now head of the Research Support Office.

Purchasing and procurement, a sub-project within the project Harmonised professional services, has come to coordinate and centralize the purchasing coordinator organisation. Six to seven full-time positions within the organisation are being reorganized and will now be incorporated in the Central Administration.
