IDAC for staff
As a KI employee, whether you are employed or affiliated, you have access to a page in IDAC where you can see what data is in the system and where you can apply for authorisations.
Are you a student?
On the My Student Account page, you will find all the information you need to activate your student account through IDAC, register for studies, and more.
Which authorisations are managed in IDAC?
Several systems and resources currently manage all authorisations in IDAC. This means that you as an employee apply for access to the resource from IDAC, and its owner must manage authorisations and incoming requests there:
- Project Folders (P:) (central storage)
- RIMS
- Pythagoras
- FUBAS
- HR archive
Are you a system owner interested in integrating a system for managing authorisations and accounts? Find out more about the integration possibilities on the page Connect systems and groups to IDAC.
How do I apply for authorisations in IDAC?
As a staff member, you request access to the above resources or systems yourself by logging into IDAC and following this step-by-step guide on KI Self Service, or the video below:
Are you a resource owner who needs to manage authorisations? See IDAC for resource owners.
Need help with your account?
The IDAC or extension administrator manages accounts in your institution for staff members and extensions.
An extension administrator can, for example, help you with renewal, cancellation or change of tasks.
An IDAC admin can, for example, help you change a visitor's address, make profile cards visible on KI.se, and merge accounts.
You can also get help with password change, resetting MFA (Microsoft Authenticator) and upgrading the trust level of your KI ID - if you lack an electronic ID to solve this on your own through the ID portal.
If you need to reset your KI login password, you can do this via Microsoft 365 (you must have installed the Microsoft Authenticator app beforehand).
The page Contact your administrator for IDAC and UBW provides contact details for IDAC and UBW administrators.
