Learn to manage stress – different ways to improve your manageability with the support of KI Health Hub
Stress is a natural part of life. Our bodies need to respond to challenges so that we can be active and perform. But when it becomes too much for too long, with too little recovery, the stress response can lead to ill health.
Whether you feel that stress is causing problems in your everyday life, or you want to learn methods to manage future periods of challenge as a preventive measure, KI Health Hub offers several different ways to support you.
Our activities in stress management and mental wellbeing
KI Health Hub offers several stress management activities with different areas of focus.
Dance for Health - discover the joy and power of “Dance for Health”, a course for those who may not be used to dancing but are curious about how movement and dance can help you feel better.
ACT - Acceptance and Commitment Training - a course where you can explore what gives your life meaning and strengthen your psychological flexibility to better manage everyday life.
MBSR - Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction - MBSR is an eight-week programme that helps you manage stress and improve your mental wellbeing through mindfulness.
Meditation - a way to find focus and get to know the mind.
Yoga - get to know your body and build resilience to stress through movement and breathing.
Physical Activity - one of the most evidence-based methods for regulating the stress response in both the short and long term.
All activities have the following in common:

- support in building habits that strengthen you in the long term
The aim is to give you methods that are useful in everyday life – we want to give you the tools to look after your mental health on your own with knowledge, confidence and a sense of security.

Dance for Health
Recovery through undemanding movement and a sense of belonging with the group
Dance for Health is a research-based course aimed at strengthening mental health.
About the course:

Target group
The course is aimed at those who sometimes experience symptoms such as worry, anxiety, low mood, sleep problems, fatigue, pain, loneliness, hopelessness and/or similar issues.

ACT - Acceptance and Commitment Training
Discover yourself and build skills for everyday challenges
ACT is a course where you explore your behavioural patterns and habitual ways of responding to thoughts, emotions and life’s challenges. Through practical and supportive group coaching, you develop psychological flexibility – the ability to be present in the moment now while also taking steps towards what matters to you.

8 weeks for increased awareness, balance and stress management
MBSR is an evidence-based course for individuals who want to reduce stress, enhance their wellbeing, and cultivate a more mindful approach to everyday challenges. Suitable for both those currently experiencing stress and those seeking to promote long-term health and resilience, the course offers practical tools to support greater balance, wellbeing, and quality of life.

After the course you will have:
- Have a foundational understanding of mindfulness and its impact on stress and wellbeing.
- Learned mindfulness exercises that can be applied in everyday life and at work.

Meditation
Create a moment of recovery during the day
Meditation trains your ability to be present. Through simple exercises in attention and mindfulness, you have the opportunity to pause in the middle of everyday life and create space for calm, focus and recovery.

- 20–30 minutes per session
- For employees and students

During the session, you may for example try:
- breathing meditation
- body scan meditation
- sitting meditation
- mindfulness exercises for everyday life
All exercises are adapted so that you can take part based on your own circumstances. No previous experience of meditation or mindfulness is required.

Yoga
Movement and breathing to improve body awareness, presence and physical ability
Yoga is a form of exercise that combines movement, breathing and mindfulness to strengthen both body and mind.
The classes at Health Hub help you build strength, mobility, balance, and body awareness. Through mindful movement and breathing, you can improve recovery, reduce tension, and enhance your overall sense of wellbeing.

Physical activity
Movement strengthens both body and mind
Physical activity is one of the most effective ways to promote health, recovery and long-term stress management.
Regular physical activity can help you manage stress, boost your energy levels and strengthen both physical and mental health. Whether you prefer group exercise, individual activities or incorporating movement into everyday life, there are many ways to find something that suits you. We offer a wide range of activities and opportunities for physical activity that can be adapted to different needs, interests and fitness levels.

Individual health coaching
We also offer coaching sessions for those who want individual support with lifestyle matters, work–life balance, or behaviour change to improve health and wellbeing. This may include reviewing your weekly schedule to explore opportunities for more recovery time, becoming more physically active in everyday life, or other situations where an individual health-promoting plan would be helpful.
