Staff support – telephone counselling
Telephone counselling is offered to all employees, scholarship-funded doctoral and post-doctoral students, for quick access to professional support.
The advice service is available around the clock.
There are two ways to contact the Employee Support Service:

The service covers both work-related and private issues (psychosocial issues, legal or personal finances, etc.). It may concern, for example, family law, housing contracts, the social climate in the workplace, addiction problems, personal crises.
A social worker can provide direct advice on psychosocial issues. If you need other or further advice from a specialist in the field, you will be called (within 72 hours) by a psychologist/psychotherapist, Monday to Thursday from 08:00 to 20:00 and Friday from 08:00 to 18:00, legal and financial matters, Monday to Friday 08:00-17:00.
It is possible to have up to three consultations with a specialist per case/situation. The service is financed by KI central funds.
Managers can also call up managerial support through the service, for situations concerning e.g. the work group.
