Develop your course using blended learning as a pedagogical method
The Course and programme committee welcomes applications for funding to develop blended learning as a pedagogical method within doctoral courses.

About the theme of this initiative
Blended learning is a pedagogical method that combines traditional face-to-face teaching methods with online learning. Online and face-to-face learning take place in parallel and complement one another, providing a comprehensive learning experience. This can enhance the quality of teaching and learning by offering variety, fostering engagement, increasing efficiency and contributing to better learning outcomes.
The Unit for Teaching and Learning, TL, provides a general overview of this method and offers a self-study course via Canvas where you can explore the subject in greater depth.
Application
Applications are made using the form provided and can be submitted on an ongoing basis throughout autumn 2026 and during 2027.
In your application, you are asked to describe what you intend to do, how it will be carried out, and to provide a timetable. In addition to the timetable, we would also like to know when you expect to be able to report on and claim funding for the completed project, so that we can plan our budget accordingly.
Application form
Scope
A fixed sum of SEK 60,000 (including INDI) will be awarded to successful projects. Please adjust the scope of your project accordingly. Potentially, funding for another sub-project may be applied for later.
Decisions
Decisions will be made on an ongoing basis and within the limits of the allocated funds, which means that applications will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis should there be significant interest.
Reporting
We would like a brief report (maximum one page) outlining the approach taken and the results achieved. Please state the number of working hours so that we can better estimate resource requirements for future calls for proposals.
In some cases, a brief interim report may be requested; see below under Requisitioning of funds.
Requisitioning of funding
Please use the standard requisition form to request granted funds from the Course and programme committee. Attach the report.
As we wish to use the allocated funds during the respective financial year as far as possible, we would like projects to be completed and reported as soon as possible, but no later than the end of 2027. In some cases, KPK may request an interim report in order to make a payment in the intended financial year, but before the project has been completed.
