Safety Forum

KI's Safety Forum is designed to strengthen the coordination of KI’s safety work. It brings together representatives from different parts of the organisation to engage in dialogue, exchange experiences and collaborate on safety-related development work.

The Safety Forum has the following remit:

  • to strengthen a coordinated and proactive security culture
  • to facilitate dialogue and the exchange of experiences between different parts of KI
  • to coordinate efforts to identify and manage risks
  • to help prevent incidents and enhance safety at KI

This work is carried out through regular meetings and joint initiatives. The Forum is chaired by the University Director and acts in an advisory capacity to management at KI. The Safety Forum includes representatives from several safety and security areas, including:

  • protection and security
  • information security and GDPR
  • IT security
  • work environment and laboratory safety
  • research security and international collaborations
