This is an overview of the operational plan for the Professional Services at KI (formerly the Central Administration) 2024.
Remit and responsibilities
The general remit of Professional Services (PS) is to support the university’s core activities of research, education and outreach and its governance via the president and other management offices. Professional Services shall:
- ensure that the university fulfils its official mission and complies with all relevant rules, laws and ordinances.
- be effective and operate from the needs of the university’s core activities and managerial functions.
- proactively judge such needs and actively participate in the identification of challenges and the devising of common solutions.
- operate in the spirit of professionalism, dedication and positivity.
- pursue the same objective throughout KI. Close collaboration with the departments’ local professional services is therefore particularly important.
- Stödja KI:s fortsatta utveckling inom identifierade strategiska fokusområden.
- Stödja påbörjad integration av BioNut med MedH.
- Översyn av det gemensamma verksamhetsstödets arbetssätt, organisation och lokalanvändning.
- Utveckla verksamhetsplanering och uppföljning inom hela KI.
- Skapa struktur för verksamhetsutveckling och digitalisering.
- Stärka och samordna säkerhetsarbetet vid KI.
- Säkra progress vid införande av samordnad IT.
