This is the operational plan for the Strategic Management Office 2024.

Remit and responsibilities

The Strategic Management Office (SMO) supports the KI management with issues of a general university nature and provides the source material required for KI’s governance and development. Its responsibilities include supporting the University Board, coordinating annual reports and budget activities, operational planning and internal control. The office also provides administrative support to the university management, manages KI’s fundraising activities, organises academic ceremonies and coordinates investigations.

  • To support the new management: President, Vice President and University Director.
  • To support KI’s organisational development – in 2024 the integration of BioNut with MedH.
  • To take active part in setting up the review of KI’s professional services.
  • To produce proposals for revised resource allocations ahead of 2025.
  • To develop KI’s operational planning model.
  • To contribute to the utilisation of administrative capital.
  • To take part in the review of boards and committees.
