The main principle at KI is that salary setting should be individualised and differentiated. Account shall be taken of the responsibility and degree of difficulty of the work and of the person's performance and skills. When setting salaries, a comparison shall be made with comparable salaries at KI. The following are established remuneration levels for hourly pay or remuneration for assignments.

HOURLY WAGES

Tuition fees for external teachers:
Lectures means cathedral, clinical and outpatient lectures, seminars, conferences, visiting rounds or comparable teaching.

Lecture by those who have a PhD or have a licentiate degree625 SEK/hour excl. holiday pay
Lecture by those who have at least 120 credits of basic higher education535 SEK/hour excl. holiday pay

Group teaching:
In addition to 'group instruction', group teaching also includes demonstrations, teaching rounds, autopsy and laboratory instruction or comparable instruction

Holiday pay is paid automatically on hourly wages via the payroll system and therefore cannot be negotiated away. All wages paid through the payroll system are taxed.
