EduPrint
EduPrint is Karolinska Institutet’s printing service. All staff and affiliates with a KI-card and KI ID may use EduPrint.
Included in the service
- Printing, scanning and copying.
- Delivery and installation of printers.
- Service of printers.
- Operation and support of the printing system.
- The service includes delivery of toner and staples to the specified delivery address, but not the installation or refilling of these.
Important to know about the service
- The user must have a KI ID and KI card.
- The printer and the computer used to send the print job must be connected to KI’s network.
- The computer sending the assignment must be a KI computer (be part of the IT Office’s Active Directory) or have the print client installed.
- You may also print via the web portal Papercut.
Environment and security
- You pay for the actual number of pages you print, which results in both cost savings and less environmental impact.
- The supplier Ricoh specialises in printers and provides the entire infrastructure and security for the system.
Support
- For fault reporting and support, contact Helpdesk.
- In case of physical malfunctions of the printer, a Ricoh technician can troubleshoot on-site.
- Toner cartridges are delivered to the specified delivery address.
- If you want to change the address of the printer use the EduPrint address form (Swedish).

Ordering and delivery
Order EduPrint by completing the ordering form (in Swedish) and creating a new helpdesk ticket at KI Self Service, with the filled form attached.
You will be contacted by a Service manager from the IT Office to sign agreements. The delivery time for printers from Richo is approximately six weeks.
