Ulla Hamberg Angeby and Lennart Angeby's Foundation - Stroke
Karolinska Institutet hereby announces research grants for research into Stroke from the Ulla Hamberg Angeby and Lennart Angeby Foundation.
Purpose
The foundation's purpose is to support research on stroke.
Eligibility
Researchers with a doctoral degree affiliated at Karolinska Institutet, who conduct research within the area described above, are eligible to apply.
Amount
Funds will be paid to 4-5 researchers. The amount depends on the annual return from the foundation, and for this year the amount is SEK 7.5 million. You can never get more than the requested amount.
Application
The application must contain a research description of a maximum of 15,000 characters (approx. 4 A4 pages), an abstract of approx. 1 A4 page, any ethical considerations and a budget. The quality of the project is very crucial.
The following attachments should be enclosed:
- A list of publications with the 10 most relevant publications for this call and a complete list of publications for the last 5 years and the current year.
Note that you should not add co-applicants to this call.
The application must be submitted digitally. The online form will be available through KI Prisma during the application period, September 30 – October 14, 2025. The application period opens at 10 am on September 30 and closes 2 pm on October 14.
Decision
Decision of grant will be taken by the Committee of Research. All applicants will be notified by e-mail in December.
Reports
After the end of the disposition period, the funds must be reported in Prisma. If the funds have only been partially or not used during the period of disposition, they must be refunded to Foundations & Donations.
Reporting takes place via Prisma approximately 12 months after the money has been paid out. Notification will be sent via email from Prisma when it is time to report.
