All employees have right to good working conditions. In the Work Environment Act, there are regulations about the obligations of employers and others responsible for safety, to prevent ill health and accidents at work.

Occupational Health Service

Staff support – around the clock telephone counselling
The staff support includes both work-related and private matters and quick access to professional support. The service is available around-the-clock.

Work adaptation and rehabilitation
The employer's work environment responsibility includes investigating, continuously and systematically, whether an employee needs work adaptation and adapting working conditions to the employees physical and mental conditions.

Safety representatives at KI
The tasks of the safety representative are to monitor protection against illness and accidents at work, and to ensure that the employer is in compliance with the Swedish Work Environment Act’s requirements for systematic work environment measures.

Work environment training
KI regularly offers work environment training for managers, safety representatives and others who handle work environment issues in their operations.
