Description of KI Play
KI Play is a system for uploading, managing, and consuming media. Karolinska institutet (KI) process personal data that is necessary to manage this system. Lawful grounds for the data processing is that KI is performing a task that is carried out in the public interest.
Processing of personal data
Transfer of personal data
Personal data is transferred from the identity provider (your login service) to KI Play to login.
When logging in to KI Play, the following personal data is requested from the identity provider you use:

How long will the data be stored?
KI will story your personal data only for time that is necessary to fulfill the purposes that they were collected for.
Who will have access to the data? (What functions at KI)
Your data will only be processed by those employees of KI who need it to perform their duties. That is mainly, but not exclusively, our IT-department, support, and administrative personnel.
Transfer of personal data to third parties
Vetenskapsrådet is the personal data processor for KI and handles the data in KI Play according to the data processing agreement.
